Midas M32 Asio Driver

Midas Dl153

It has a full blown 18-in/18-out USB interface with ASIO drivers. I haven't quite stressed the USB in the same way as with a studio interface but I've used it for recording rehearsals, virtual soundchecks, etc. And it has been flawless so far (usually using Waves Tracks Live). Headphone mix effects (EQ/compression/reverb, usually) are supplied via the M32 effects, so there are no latency issues in that arena. Also, the ASIO drivers have been solid, but the general latency available isn't inspiring for soft-synth users.

I'm running the M32 into my PC via USB. Everything I am reading tells me to just plug it in and it should work. But it's not.
My PC is seeing it in device manager (DN32-USB), but that's it. I can't get Studio 1 to see it. Anything I can try?

I finally got studio one and the board communicating. But it's all weird now. Still trying to figure it out.
I have to use aux 1 and 2 as my master fader. And I have a Neve preamp through aux 1 via a patchbay. When I have my mic plugged into the front of patchbay, into the Neve, the Neve sees signal, but the daw doesn't. If I plug right into the board I can record on studio 1 no problem. But now I'm trying to figure out how to integrate my outboard 500 series gear.

Have you set up the M32 inside Studio One as an interface and as a control surface. i think you may have to do that too. Sounds like you have them talking at least!

Setting it up as a new control surface in studio one is not working. It's weird it's only giving me MIDI in and out for receive and send to, I don't have anywhere to plug my midi into from the back of the board!?!

The x/m32 does not function as a usb<-->midi interface, unlike the x-air and m-air siblings . The midi is included to control the mixer using midi controllers and the x-touch.
The x/m32 can act as a mcu controller as well, controlling s1.
